Timor Lettuce is a hardy plant that grows best in fertile soils. Tips are eaten raw, or older leaves are great to add bulk and nutrition in soups, stews and stir frys. Can be bitter as the plant reaches maturity. Leaves picked after 6 weeks through until after seeding, approx 3 -4 months. Great for live stock as the mature plant reaches over 2 meters tall. Beautiful small flowers that native bees love, heavy seeder.
